I decided to have Yarmouth Boat Yard sell my Eastern 22 Lobster fisherman in January of this year. I’ve enjoyed this boat very much but felt with our ‘downsizing’ that it was a luxury we couldn’t afford.
When they didn’t sell it by May 1st. I decided to take it back and use it this summer—if they didn’t sell it while Pat and I were in Europe.
Well, guess what? They sold it on May 25!

Will I replace the good ship MORGAN? I ‘m not sure yet but will certainly keep an open-mind on it.

I have owned a number of sail and motorboats and think my Morgan was the best yet. For a while, I thought my Pemaquid Marine boat, “Pat Pat” was the best—and I did love that boat, but Morgan just suited me. I covered a lot of ground in the five years I owned it but never quite reached Penobscot Bay—my goal.

Do I have seller’s regret? I guess a little but owning a boat is expensive. I still have our canoe.

Buppy,

The Morgan was one of my favorites that you owned. While it is rather expensive to own a boat it is hard to see them go. I feel that this will be sad at first, however you will be happier when you don't have to dump money in maintaining and keeping it in ship-shape. We will miss the good boat Morgan, farewell!!.

I understand, but it still makes me sad. Keep the canoe, please.
